I live and work in Delft. Delft is one of Holland's older cities located between The Hague and Rotterdam.

Delft recieved city rights in 1246, but because of a large fire in 1536 and a large explosion in a gunpowder warehouse in 1654, very few of the old buildings have survived.

I first moved to Delft from Vught where I grew up in 1990 to start my studies in at the technical university delft. In 2001 I recieved my masters degree in civil engineering. I started playing harmonica while I was studying in delft and this seriously delayed my studies.

It took me 11 years to finish the 5 year curriculum because I spent most of my time learning to play the harmonica rather than learning to solve differential equations.

The white building in the picture on the right houses the offices of tick where I work as a parttime system developer.

Please do come over to Delft to studie. I don't exactly know how that would work either, but I am sure that we can work something out. I would also be very happy to go to your country and teach there. I have been to Portugal this year where I stayed with a very talented guitar player who is also learning to play harmonica. It was very nice to be able to teach (albeit sporadically) while visiting the beautifull city of Lisbon.

I was wondering about coming to Delft to study. It would not be for a while (6-months or so), but I was just wondering about how that would work. I can hit all the overblows on some of my harps, but I have problems setting up higher key harps for the 9-hole overdraw. I studied with Jason Ricci for a couple days in Nashville, and have taken two lessons from Dennis Gruenling. I love the blues, but I also love most genres of music, and would love to learn how to understand music more. Thanks for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Jackson Kincheloe
